Sabine Buerchler graduated 2005 from the Veterinary faculty of Zurich, Switzerland. After a short stint in Southern California, Dr. Sabine spent two years at a large Equine practice in Newmarket, the town of horseracing in the UK. Upon her return to California, Sabine was employed at the regenerative medicine department at UC Davis before pursuing an internship at Alamo Pintado Equine Medical Center. Sabine gained further experience at a local equine practice and spent a winter in Dubai providing Acupuncture and Chiropractic services, among regular ambulatory duties, to the Dubai Equine Hospital.
Sabine has a great interest in the Equine Athlete, Equine biomechanics and the ‘whole horse approach’. Since childhood Sabine has a passion for the Thoroughbred racehorse. In her spare time she enjoys schooling retired racehorses in order to prepare them for a new career as jumpers or eventers and to help them find a new purpose. Sabine hopes one day to be actively competing again.
